Structural Features

TMF, TMB, and TME transformers have a well-thought-out design that ensures their reliability and durability in operation. The transformer tanks are made rectangular, and on the narrow opposite walls, there are bushings protected by covers with seals.

• Upon customer request, low voltage bushings for currents less than 1000 A and high voltage bushings can be equipped with contact clamps of the corresponding cross-section.
• The bushings are removable, and the insulators are through-type porcelain. It is important to note that they are not designed for operation in environments contaminated with active gases and conductive dust.
• The active part of the transformer consists of windings, a high-voltage tap changer, and a magnetic core made of high-quality electrical steel.
• Steel cutting is performed on a “GEORG” line, and the magnetic core is stacked using the “Step-Lap” scheme.
• Transformer windings are made of aluminum, and for “T” execution, they are made of copper.
• The oil conservator ensures the presence of oil during all operating modes and fluctuations in ambient temperature.
• To control the oil level, an oil indicator with control marks for different temperatures is installed on the end of the oil conservator.
• Transformers with capacities of 1000 and 1600 kV·A are additionally equipped with a gas relay and an exhaust pipe, which activates when the internal pressure exceeds 0.5 atm.
