On 1 January 2025, the second part of the Technical Regulation on Ecodesign Requirements for Small, Medium and Large Power Transformers, approved by Resolution No. 152 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 27 February 2019 р., came into force, under which all older-model transformers must be replaced with energy-efficient ones, with the aim of reducing energy losses, which directly impacts the load on Ukraine’s power grid and contributes to improving the economic situation as a whole, as well as helping to protect the environment by reducing CO₂ emissions.
