TMPN transformers are reliable and efficient equipment specifically designed for the needs of the oil production industry. They are a key component of complete transformer substations that provide power to submersible electric pumps. These transformers are designed to convert electrical energy and are adapted for operation in complex conditions.
TMPN series transformers are manufactured with natural oil cooling and are available with primary voltages of 380 V or 480 V, as well as 6 kV and 10 kV. The connection scheme and groups are YN/yn-0, with a nominal frequency of 50 Hz. They are designed for operation in various climatic conditions, including temperate and cold climates.
Structural Features
TMPN transformers have a well-thought-out design that ensures their reliability and ease of operation. The structural features of these transformers take into account the specifics of their application in harsh oil production environments.
- TMPN transformer tanks have a rectangular shape and are equipped with corrugated walls or radiators for efficient cooling.
- At the bottom of the tank, there is a plug for draining oil sediment and a tap or plug for taking an oil sample.
- An oil indicator is installed on the conservator to monitor the oil level.
- The internal volume of TMPN transformers with conservators is in contact with the ambient air through an air dryer, installed on the conservator, which absorbs moisture and dust.
- A thermometer (or a sleeve for its installation) is placed in the tank to measure the temperature of the upper oil layers.
- The transformer design includes cable voltage connection, ensuring reliable cable connection without the need for soldering terminals.
- High and low voltage bushings are protected by a casing and located on the side wall, providing an IP-13 protection rating.
