TMPN(G) series power oil-filled transformers are an important component for ensuring stable power supply in various industries. They convert electrical energy in AC networks, stepping down high voltage to a level suitable for consumption. Three-phase oil-filled transformers of the TMPNG series with natural oil cooling are designed to power oil production electric pumps. They are designed for operation in moderate and cold climates.
Design Features
TMPN(G) series transformers have a well-thought-out design that ensures their reliability and durability in operation. The features of the tank structure and internal components contribute to efficient cooling and protection from external influences; in particular, the hermetic design prevents oil contact with air.
- The tanks of hermetic TMPNG transformers can be rectangular with corrugated walls or with radiators.
- On the tank lid, there is a tap or plug for filling oil, and at the bottom of the tank – a plug for draining oil and a tap or plug for taking a sample.
- For controlling the oil level, a float-type oil indicator is installed on the tank lid of transformers with corrugated tanks, and on the tank wall of transformers with radiator tanks.
- A thermometer is installed in the tank to measure the temperature of the upper oil layers.
- The oil in hermetic TMPNG type transformers does not come into contact with air and does not oxidize.
- The transformer design includes a cable entry and voltage output for reliable cable connection.
- The HV and LV bushings are protected by a box and installed on the side wall, protection degree IP-13.
- The magnetic cores of the transformers are laminated core type with a multi-step cross-section shape of cores and yokes.
- The core limbs are pressed using fiberglass banding tape.
- Using the “Step-Lap” stacking scheme during steel cutting ensures reduced no-load losses.
