TMZ power oil-filled step-down three-phase double-winding hermetically sealed transformers with oil protection, with capacities from 630 to 2500 kV∙A and voltage up to 10 kV, manufactured by LLC “UKRELEKTROAPARAT”, are reliable equipment designed for efficient conversion of electrical energy in three-phase networks. These transformers are used at transformer substations for both indoor and outdoor installation. Their hermetically sealed design with oil protection using a nitrogen cushion ensures increased durability and resistance to external influences.

Design Features

TMZ type transformers have a well-thought-out design aimed at ensuring their reliability and longevity under various operating conditions. The main components, such as the tank, active part, and oil protection system, are designed for efficient performance and safe operation of the transformer.

• Transformer tanks are welded, rectangular, with radiators for increasing the cooling surface area.
• In the lower part of the tank, there are plugs for draining oil and taking samples, as well as a grounding bolt.
• The active part consists of a magnetic core made of high-quality electrical steel using the “Step-Lap” technology, windings, and a high-voltage switch.
• HV and LV bushings for outdoor installation are removable, with porcelain insulators, located on the narrow walls of the tank.
• An oil level indicator with control marks for different temperatures is installed on the wall of the oil-nitrogen conservator to monitor the oil level.
• A nitrogen cushion in the hermetically sealed tank protects the oil from oxidation and compensates for temperature fluctuations in its volume.
• Thermometric alarms or thermometers are installed to measure the temperature of the upper oil layers.
• Internal pressure is monitored using a vacuum gauge.
• A rupture disc or pressure relay is installed to protect against overpressure.
