Three-phase dry-type power transformers of the TSZNG series in a hermetic tank with windings made of “NOMEX” insulated wire of thermal resistance class “H” (180°C), are two-winding general-purpose transformers with capacities from 10 to 100 kV·A and voltages up to 10 kV. Structural Features

- Magnetic Core: Manufactured from high-quality electrical steel. Special cutting on the “GEORG” line and “Step-Lap” stacking scheme are used to ensure low no-load losses and noise levels. The assembly of the magnetic core is carried out using bandages, tie rods, and special adhesives.
- Windings: LV (low voltage) and HV (high voltage) windings are made of wire or strip with “NOMEX” insulation; winding material is copper or aluminum. “NOMEX” insulation provides a high thermal resistance class “H” (180°C).
- Hermetic Tank: Transformers are manufactured in a hermetic tank with terminals on the lid. The internal volume of the tank is filled with inert gas under overpressure, which prevents the insulation from coming into contact with the environment.
- Corrosion Protection: Organosilicon paints are used for corrosion protection.
- Active Part Impregnation: The active part of the transformer is impregnated with organosilicon varnishes and processed in electric furnaces according to special temperature programs, ensuring resistance to short-circuit currents.
- Additional Elements: The design includes tap changers, LV and HV bushings, lifting lugs, a nameplate, a grounding bolt, a switch drive, transport rollers, a terminal box, a manometer, and a safety valve.
